    Design and Application of Interactive Satellite Communication Virtual Simulation Teaching Platform

    • The high cost, cross regional, and complexity of satellite communication systems make it difficult to carry out high-quality real experimental teaching. Designing a virtual simulation teaching experimental platform suitable for undergraduate practical teaching in communication majors can significantly improve the operability and trial and error space of experiments. This platform is based on Unity 3D and 3DMAX, and designs and implements experiments such as satellite to satellite, point-to-point communication, and mesh network communication. It builds virtual scenes for the laboratory, ground stations for satellite communication, and satellite images for space. The teaching application of the C/S architecture of the platform is implemented by using Huawei Cloud Servers, and the visualization teaching application is implemented by using VR devices, so, it can enhance the convenience of experiments and avoid problems such as high cost, limited resources, and fewer parallel experiments in traditional satellite experiments.
