    Tweakable Authenticated Encryption Algorithm Based on Ellie Round Function

    • The Authenticated Encryption (AE) algorithm could satisfy the two cryptographic primary demands of information confidentiality and integrity,and undertakes the functions of encryption algo-rithm and message authentication code,exhibiting great prospect in applications and receiving extensive attentions from cryptography in recent years.In this paper,Deoxys tweakable authenticated encryption algorithm is studied,which is one of the seven winner algorithms in the CAESAR competition.TWEAKEY frame is constructed and a tweakable block cipher algorithm ELT is designed based on the round function component of the Ellie that is a new lightweight block cipher.The ELT algorithm is in-serted into the fully parallel and provably secure identity-based encryption mode OCB3 to design a new authenticated encryption algorithm ELTAE.Then,correctness and security of the designed algorithm are verified,and an efficiency analysis is presented.Dedicated cryptographic algorithm designed in this paper could be used for multiple special conditions and has the characteristics of high efficiency and low cost.
