    Exploration on the Reform of Blended Teaching Model of Core Courses for English Majors——Taking "English Stylistics and Rhetoric" as an Example

    • Blended teaching is a combination of "online + face-to-face" teaching,which can maximize the advantages of on-line teaching and traditional teaching.It can lead students to explore learning gradually to the core.Thus,blended teaching is the necessary trend for teaching reform.Advocated by the government,motivated by higher education institutions,and stimulated by covid-19,"English Stylistics and Rhetoric",as one of English-majors' fourth year's core courses,has taken the trend under the guidance of "jinke" criteria and OBE.Based on careful teaching design,the reform has achieved expected results.In this paper,student and course analysis is firstly introduced,along with the basic principles of the reform.Then specific reforming paths are illustrated,with an emphasis on the connection between the course and the rich resources from the Internet.The reflection of the reform is also summarized for the purposes of keeping advantages and making up the weak points.
